The Superior Dragonspawn is what a dragon cult gets when it stops treating its soldiers as expendable. An elite dragonkin champion built for dragon cult arcs, the named variant that appears when the standard dragonspawn have not been sufficient, which the party should read as a significant escalation. Deploy it as the dragon cult's elite guard, the champion sent to deal with threats the regular dragonspawn could not manage, or the creature whose defeat closes one chapter of a dragon faction arc and opens the next.
