The night was thick with smoke and blood as Eadric, a gaunt survivor, crept past the Morak camp. Their guttural laughter and the clanging of weapons filled the air, casting a shadow of fear over him. Pressed against a tree, Eadric tried to remain unseen, but a gust lifted his cloak, catching a Morak's eye. "There!" the brute growled, and Eadric sprinted, terror driving his legs. The Moraks gave chase, their footsteps a drumbeat of doom.

He darted through the trees, but the Moraks were relentless. A rough hand yanked him to the ground, a boot pressing him down. "Please," Eadric gasped, "mercy..." The Morak's laughter was cruel. With a swift motion, the blade descended. Pain exploded in Eadric's chest, then, as life faded from his body, the Morak said "There is no mercy for the weak... Only Iron, Steel, and Blood!".

The Moraks continued their revelry, indifferent to the life they had just extinguished.
