The Protectar was built for one purpose, and it has not stopped. A guardian construct designed for divine protection arcs — a creature built to guard something specific and programmed to do so until the object of its protection no longer exists or the construct does. Use it as the automated guardian of a temple or vault, the construct that protects an NPC the party cares about, or the creature whose allegiance the party can redirect if they understand what it was made to protect.
