Description

“They say she can smell grief... If she laughs when she finds you, it means she already knows what you’ve lost.” The Ogre Hag lumbers through the mire draped in bones, fetishes, and scraps of old skin, her huge frame swaying under a fur-lined mantle and a necklace of little skulls. A ram-skull staff hangs from one hand, while the other reaches forward like she is greeting an old friend. Her smile is the worst part. Plot Hooks: • The Ogre Hag offers to return a missing child, but only if the party brings her the child’s true name. • Hunters keep disappearing near her trail, and the few who return are carrying strange little bone charms tied to their clothes. • A village headman swears he made no bargain with her, but she keeps coming to collect.

In the swamp, every footprint is swallowed by the mud, and every step leads toward dangers no one can foresee. Whispers can be heard from far away, drifting through the mist. Some call them prayers. Others know they are warnings.

This is a place where every bargain leaves a scar, every forgotten name still holds power, and the oldest magic was never meant to be known.

A daughter of the forest walks beneath tangled branches, carrying fading blessings and burdens alike. Pale flames dance at her fingertips as the wilds speak in voices only she can hear. Whether they seek to protect or condemn, even she no longer knows.

A cloaked wanderer walks where dark waters refuse to reveal the truth. His blade can sever curses and every soul that stands in his way risks becoming another ghost the swamp refuses to forget.

Deep within the marsh, where grief lingers longer than life itself, an ancient horror watches. Draped in bones and forgotten promises, she welcomes every traveler with a smile that speaks of bargains already made and debts still unpaid.
