Aernul didn't get the name "Fearless" from staying out of trouble, he got it from walking into the swamp's worst legends and walking back out to tell everyone exactly what he saw. A barbarian who treats terror as a challenge rather than a warning. Use him as a blunt-force party ally, a local hero NPC guiding adventurers into a cursed swamp, or a rival barbarian competing for the same glory. A display Bust version is also available. Dark events near Marshfield are terrifying locals. Disease, rotten crops, and stillborn babies were once seen as bad luck or divine punishment. However, hunters and fishermen began finding small tokens in the swamp—first simple branches, then broken bones, ears, eyes, and entrails, even human entrails. As these gruesome tokens increased, so did the severity of the events. It became clear that all the town’s misfortunes were caused by dark magic whispered from the swamp’s core!
