Death by Plague (May, 2025)

"First day, the cough began to play.

Second day, they spat blood as they lay.

Third day, black spots blot the skin.

Fourth day, fever boils deep within.

Fifth day, prayers fade into cries.

Sixth day, the children die with flies.

Seventh day, the bells toll for breath.

Eighth day, the streets reek of death.

Ninth day, the rats no longer flee.

Tenth day, we burn what used to be.

Eleventh day, all hope we forsake.

Twelfth day, our bones begin to break.

Now we decay, cold and vague— Another soul claimed by death and plague"
